Amaka is an experienced Afro-German jazz, soul and blues singer who successfully established herself on the London music scene with numerous appearances, including at the legendary Ronnie Scotts club and on the BBC.

Her return to Germany led her to work with various renowned musicians such as Hans-Günther Adam (Dennis Mackrel / Count-Basie-Bigband), Ralf Herrnkind (WDR Big Band) and Terrence Ngassa (Europe Africa Jazz Orchestra). Having performed in many countries such as France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Nigeria and the UK, she has quickly become an insider tip in the local jazz scene.  Her moving and soulful interpretations of popular swing and bossa nova classics are reminiscent of great role models such as Nina Simone and Sarah Vaughan.
After her successful ‘Enigmatic Tour’ in Italy, she toured Germany with blues legend Marla Glen. She is currently working on her debut album, which showcases her love of soul, African and Latin American rhythms.
In any case, the expressive artist knows how to captivate the audience and transform concerts into exciting and unforgettable live music experiences.
